The news on the street, if you've missed it, is that a street artist has yassified the famous Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow (famous for his traffic cone hat) with a stunning rock dove upgrade. It would be impossible for me not to make a loving pastiche!
So say hello to Sloane with the Cone, or the Duke of Wearing-cone, if you will!
He is part of my handmade pigeon family, thrown ceramic grey stoneware clay with additional birdy features, and that famous traffic cone hat. (Not to scale of course, that would require a very large pigeon).
