I've always liked Kiwis, they always look a bit depressed but are probably happy on the inside, and we've all been there. I've made these dinky little pocket Kiwi Birds as an homage. They're rolled in clay and have large pink beaks, perfect for picking around the ground.
Like all my handmade items, this kiwi is stoneware ceramic in a lovely speckled grey Sibelco clay. Underglazed with a earthy pallete then kiln fired. These little birds are not glaze fired, which means they have a Matt finish.
